I love how vibrant the colors are on the birds plumage, and the overall composition is really well set off by the frame, but I do have one big concern. By cropping so close to the face of the bird, you give no chance for the background to have a variation, this makes it look too bland and then the picture starts to lose it's depth and sink with the background. Also, it looks as if you're focusing on the beak of the bird, and with how it's sitting, if you'd shown the full head it may have looked fine as is, but as is for a close up, the yellow of the beak versus the yellow of the neck plumage makes it blend together too much.
You may want to consider zooming back out on the crop, just so that you can accent more of the bird and help take away from the blending beak and background.
